Slick back bun
No parting in the hair. Scrape back hair into a ponytail- the height should be in line with top of the ears. Flat bun. You should be able to see a tiny part of the bun from the front but not the whole thing.
Centre parting bun
Middle parting. Scrape hair down into ponytail- height should be middle of the ear. Flat bun.
Twists into bun
Middle parting. Then part from the centre, straight down to in line with the back of the ear. This should leave you with three sections. Scrape the main section back into a ponytail in line with the top of the ear. Take one of the sections and twist it upwards so that it is flat from the ear up and twists in towards the middle of the head. Twist to the end of the strand and add to the main ponytail and use hairband to secure. Repeat with other side. Then flat bun. Video to follow…
Crossover plaits
Centre parting hair the entire way down. You should now have two equal sections. Scrape one up into bunches, in line from top of ear and central in the half of the head. Repeat on the other side. Plait each bunch to the end and secure with clear elastic. Wrap plait around the other hairband and back round its own hairband (and continue this for as long as the hair is and can). Pin this one the hair and into the hairbands. This should give you a plait looped around the two hairbands. Repeat with the other plait too. Tuck the ends under the plaits to hide them and pin it down. Place bun net over this and pin down more. It should look like an oval plaited bun.
